Irish breakfast shake


  1.  Mix the porridge oats, almond milk, cocoa powder, cinnamon and agave syrup or honey in a re-sealable bowl and leave in the fridge overnight
  2. In the morning, add the banana to the oat mixture, then place in a blender and blend until completely smooth 
  3. If the shake is too thick, add more milk for a thinner consistency; if it's not sweet enough, add more of your preferred sweetener
  4. Top with popcorn to give your oaty Irish stout some extra-special ‘froth’

Make overnight for a breakfast treat straight from the Emerald Isle


50g porridge oats
250ml almond milk
2 tsp cocoa powder
½ tsp ground cinnamon
Agave syrup/honey, to taste
1 small banana, sliced and frozen overnight
Handful of popcorn (flavour of choice)


Time: 5 minutes (plus leaving overnight)
