Easy steak wrap recipe


  1. Drizzle steak with oil and season. Heat a griddle or frying pan until hot then stir-fry the meat for 3 minutes or until cooked.
  2. Warm the tortilla wraps. Scatter each with lettuce, sweetcorn and kidney beans.
  3. Add steak, with dollops of salsa and soured cream. Fold and roll, slicing in half diagonally if required. Serve immediately.

Alternatively you could use chicken breast, adjusting cooking times accordingly


400g (13oiz) sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
1 tbsp oil
8 tortilla wraps
1/2 small iceberg lettuce, shredded
198g can sweetcorn, drained
300g can red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
200g (7oz) tomato salsa
150ml (1/4pt) soured cream
