- Break up the chocolate and place into a heat-resistant bowl, along with the Amaretto and the butter. Place the bowl over a pan of boiling water, stirring gently until melted, ensuring the bottom of the bowl doesn’t touch the water.
- Wash and dry the strawberries, then dip them into the bowl while the mixture is still warm.
- Transfer the strawberries to a plate and pop them in the fridge to harden. Once the chocolate is hard, place them inside a box lined with pretty fabric.
- If you want to add another flourish, melt down 50g of white chocolate and then when the strawberries are hard, with the back of a spoon, drizzle over, waving the spoon back and forth. Or, take an empty coloured icing tube and fill it with white chocolate. Add little dots to each strawberry and then leave to set in the fridge.
