Cinnamon and raisin cookies


  1. Place all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and beat together with a wooden spoon until well mixed.
  2. Place teaspoons of the mixture on baking sheets, previously brushed with butter.
  3. Bake on the middle shelf of a preheated hot oven 190°C, 170°C fan, gas mark 5 for 8–10 minutes. Cool on a wire tray.

75 ml Flora Cuisine or 75g (3oz) Flora Buttery
55 g (2oz) caster sugar
100 g (3½oz) soft brown sugar
1 egg Medium
1 tsp vanilla essence
100 g (3½oz) raisins, chopped
175 g (6oz) self-raising flour, sieved together with
2 tsp ground cinnamon and
0.5 tsp bicarbonate of soda
