The Race For Life is back

Cancer Research UK is urging women nationwide to join the Pink Army by signing up to a Race for Life 5K, 10K or Pretty Muddy event, in partnership with Tesco.

Hell hath no fury like a woman in pink and as spring approaches, the charity is inviting women nationwide to gather their friends and family and unite against cancer at one of more than 300 female-only events taking place across the UK from May, to help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

Participants can walk, run or charge the 5 and 10K courses, while those wanting to get their hands dirty can take on the Race for Life Pretty Muddy event - a 5K muddy obstacle course designed to put participants through their paces!

For those looking for an extra challenge, the Race for Life half and full marathon return for their second year this autumn.

Over the past 21 years, more than seven million women have taken part in Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life, raising more than £548 million to fund the charity’s life-saving work.
