Most of us have heard of rheumatoid arthritis. But that's not the only kind of arthritis there is. If you're experiencing stiffness, pain, swelling and tenderness in one or more joints, including your back and neck, it could be a sign of psoriatic arthritis. But knowing the difference between this and other causes of joint pain and getting the right diagnosis could help find the right treatment for you so you can get back to enjoying the things you love again.
To mark Psoriasis Awareness Week 2015, the Psoriasis Association has launched a campaign, Ps.Arthritis, to raise awareness of this condition, which can be just as disabling as rheumatoid arthritis and have a big impact on how you feel both inside and out. They've come up with some top tips for spotting the symptons, which can come about even if you haven't yet got noticeable signs of psoriasis, as well as advice on managing your treatment.
