Here's a wonderful story that's sent the internet into a tizzy:
BBC Radio Sheffield discovered that 99 year old Winnie Blagdon, who has barely any contact with the outside world and relies on visits from carers, would soon be eligible for a telegram from the Queen.
Widowed, and having no children, it appeared that nobody would be celebrating with her - so the radio station have launched an appeal on Facebook, to get lots of birthday cards and letters sent to Winnie from well-wishers across the country.
The people behind the kind act would like it to be a surprise, so if you'd like to make contact with Winnie, please send correspondance to: BBC Radio Sheffield, 54 Shoreham Street, Sheffield S1 4RS.
