Our favourite blogs - perfect for a teatime read

Whatever your interests, there's bound to be a blog to suit you. Here is our pick - have we missed any? Let us know!

Best for...foodies

The Forest Feast - Erin Gleeson lives the simple life in a wood cabin in the American countryside. This beautiful blog is an inspiring collection of her seasonal recipes, and is sure to get your mouth watering! We're particularly tempted by her squash caprese.

Green Kitchen Stories - Vegetarians can get their fix of yumminess here, where a very photogenic (and adorable) family post their creations. It may only be September, but we're hankering after their Christmas granola.

Best for...gardeners

Otter Farm - Mark Diacono owns a smallholding, and is passionate about growing - and eating -  unusual and forgotten vegetables. Not sure what a Japanese wineberry is? Uncertain about how (or why!) to grow chocolate vines? This blog is an education.

Best for...fashion

Lady of Style - Annette is over 40 and manages to stay the right side of stylish, without being a fashion victim. Her look is classic, with a bit of a twist, and you'll find lots of inspiration in her outfit gallery. She writes each post in both English and German - so it might even improve your language skills!

Chic at Any Age - Josphine used to work in fashion PR and as an image consultant, so there's not much she doesn't know about looking good. She's been blogging for five years, so there are plenty of photos to trawl through.

Best for...craft and lifestyle

Really Pretty Useful - From recipes to craft ideas, there are all sorts of goodies on Rebecca's beautifully illustrated blog. We'll be making these gorgeous scented candles.

Great Balls of Wool - Una has been knitting for 50 years, and her blog has something for everyone, with links to the patterns she used.
