Marks & Spencer stores have been a feature of our high street for 130 years and in that time, they've gathered a mine of artefacts which piece together a facsinating story of the evolution of fashion, food and shopping through the decades. Now all of these marks in history have been housed in a special archive exhibition, free for anyone to visit in Leeds, and we've been given a sneak peak of some of the most ground-breaking and exciting items in their collection.

You can uncover more archive gems by visiting the permanent Marks in Time exhibition at the Michael Marks Building, University of Leeds. There's also a whole host of special M&S themed events and community programmes you can get involved in throughout the year.
There's lots more M&S history to be found on the Marks in Time website here too.
There's more news and nostalgia in every issue of Yours magazine, out every fortnight on a Tuesday.
