You heard it here first! Our beloved columnist Lynda Bellingham is to release a book about her life since her cancer diagnosis and the highs and lows since writing her first memoir, Lost and Found.
The book is to be published by Coronet and will include tales of her acting and family life. The as yet untitled memoir will be in hardback and e-book and available from October 9 2014, with a paperback to follow in 2015.
Lynda said she was “thrilled” to be published by Coronet and to work with their editorial director Charlotte Hardman. She added: “Ever since I was diagnosed with cancer last July I have kept a journal, of sorts, and now I feel it is the right time to share my experiences with others who may be in the same position as myself or have a loved one who has cancer. It can be a lonely road but together we can work to eliminate it for the future.”
Lynda's first memoir Lost and Found has sold 60,830 copies through Nielsen BookScan since its publication in 2010. She is also a novelist – her first novel Tell Me Tomorrow (Simon & Schuster) was published in July 2013 and has sold 29,550 copies through Nielsen BookScan across all formats. Simon & Schuster will publish her second novel in January 2015.
