Yours favourite Esther Rantzen is backing the BHF’s festive catalogue.
Whether you’re after stocking fillers, Secret Santa gifts, or well looked-after vintage items, your nearest British Heart Foundation shop has plenty to choose from.
“The money you spend will go on to fund vital, life-saving research into heart disease,” says Esther, who famously set up The Silver Line, a care line aimed at older people suffering with loneliness, in December 2013.
The Foundation is also keen to tackle loneliness by encouraging us to volunteer, especially during the festive period. So why not give it a go?
For the rest of us shoppers, items start from just £1.50. Books, retro glassware and classic jumpers are all available for under £10. It just goes to show: we don’t have to spend a fortune to make a big difference.
