The RNLI - a charity saving lives at sea - has teamed up with TV star Ben Fogle to encourage its supporters to opt in to communications. From January 1 it will become the first major company to move to an 'opt in' only approach for communicating with supporters. This means if you want to receive post and emails from the RNLI you need to let them know.
To mark the news, Ben Fogle shares the dramatic story of Simon Haggie, a windsurfer who got into terrible trouble at sea.
