There's a new, very cute series of Animal Park coming to our screens

Animal lovers rejoice! One of our favourite animal programmes on the box is coming back as Kate Humble and Ben Fogle reunite for a brand new series of Animal Park.  And they're going to be cuddling up to some real cuties this time.

Animal Park runs from Monday April 10 onwards on BBC1 every weekday at 9.15am for a week long Easter special. They will be catching up with the keepers, meeting the animals and bringing some amazing stories from the famous Longleat Estate.

It's particularly poignant for both Kate and Ben as they first worked together on Animal Park nearly seventeen years ago and have been firm friends ever since.

The new series will feature everything from the birth of the first cheetah cubs at Longleat and a giant swing ball for the lions to osteopathy for Anne the elephant and the devastating effects of avian malaria on a colony of penguins.

Longleat’s CEO, Bob Montgomery, said: “We’re delighted to be welcoming Kate, Ben and the entire team back to Longleat.

“The public response to the 50th anniversary special was overwhelming and showed there is a real affection for the animals and staff who live and work here and their extraordinary stories,” he added.

  • The series runs on BBC1, 9.15am every day from April 10 to April 14 or catch up on BBC iPlayer.
