How much is the Widow's Pension?

A woman can get Widow's Pension if her late husband met the National Insurance Contribution conditions and either:* she was 45 or over when her husband died and he died before 9/4/2001 and she does not get Widowed Mother's Allowance; * she is 45 or over when her Widowed Mother's Allowance ends. The current rates are:Effective from 7 April 2008£90.70 Basic Pension Age-related pension (the figure age in brackets refers to women widowed before 11 April 1988)£84.35 54 (49) £78.00 53 (48) £71.65 52 (47) £65.30 51 (46) £58.96 50 (45) £52.61 49 (44) £46.26 48 (43) £39.91 47 (42) £33.56 46 (41) £27.21 45 (40)
