RNLI Knitted wellies
yellowknittedboots.jpg

Every single day the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) volunteer crew put their lives on hold to save lives at sea. Even though the vast majority of the crew are volunteers, training and equipment doesn’t come cheap – including those trademark yellow wellies.

The RNLI runs its annual Mayday campaign from the 26th April to the 2nd May, so they're calling on the nation to raise the funds. You’ll see that staying true to the yellow welly, there are many ways you can get involved in this campaign, from baking delicious biscuits boots to knitting the these adorable yellow booties!
