I have been with my husband for eight years. For the past four, he has been emotionally abusive, calling me names and blaming all our problems on me. It got to the stage where I was scared to breathe too loud in case he shouted. He doesn't do anything with the kids other than shout at them. I tried leaving him but he then took his car out and deliberately crashed it, breaking his neck in the process. He said he didn't want to live without me. What should I do please?

My first husband was an abusive person and also an alcoholic.I was married for three years with him and my life was a nightmare.Six months ago I decided to request the divorce and now I am a single mother.Even if it is difficult to raise a child alone at least I am sure that my little boy is fine.I am going frequently to couger dating events as I hope that maybe I will find a men who loves me and takes care of me and my little boy.
