I’m a carer and very lonely. How can I get in touch with people like me?

Yours has an incredibly popular Carers in Touch scheme.
To join, write or email us giving your name, full postal address, telephone number, email address if you have one and brief details of the person for whom you care. Include details about your family and interests if you wish. If writing, please enclose an A4 size self-addressed envelope.
Names and addresses will not be published in the magazine or passed on to anyone apart from other carers
Every carer who writes to us will have his or her name added to a list which will be updated regularly and sent out to all carers
It is up to the individual carers to get in touch with people they choose.

I always admire a hospital social worker. This career has career meaning, action, diversity and satisfaction. Social workers are people who care about people, who want to make things better, who want to relieve suffering, who want their work to make a difference and I consider myself one of them. I need only a degree to start this job.

You can apply for another degree, in school you will meet new people, some of your future colleagues will become for sure your friends. I advice you to experience an online degree, it only helps your career and your personal life. Who knows?! Maybe you will get married to one of your colleagues. You don't have to feel or be lonely.

i did and dont feel so lonely any more i write to at least three people.also find your nearest carers support group. Hotels in Jaipur we go out for meals, and do all sorts of things.they can provide a sitter for you and transport at a small cost
