I have used Just You which is a branch of Travelsphere. I went to Kenya with them two years ago and they were absolutely splendid. I am going to Australia and New Zealand with them at the end of September. They are very helpful and informative and if you have any queries they are always but always ready to help

I have been to Italy, Bulgaria, Austria and Spain on my own with various companies not many with Singles Holidays companies and everyone has been friendly, hotels fine, not paid much extra but Mercury Direct do lots of holidays without single supplements at really good prices, I went to Sri Lanka with them last September, on my own, it was wonderful, no problems at all, I am 60 and I use a walking stick as I have RA, if I can do it so can you. You will always meet other people on their holidays who are also on their own, and we aren't all oddballs!!

Am scared stiff but I will be taking my first holiday alone at the end of May to China. I shall be going with Just You, which I chose after much personal deliberation and recommendations from other people who had holidayed with the company.I rang several companies beforehand and was really impressed with customer services who did much to put my mind at rest. If not too late I will let you know how good (or bad!) the experience was

I have used Saga Singles special for many years and never had a problem Have never paid a single supplement yet, and have been lucky. i believe as i have always had a double room for single occupancy I use them for Christmas too If they sound expensive , Look carefully on what it included, Abroad holidays usually include excursions and insurance for instance . Saga Reps are always with you living at the hotel with you. so on call 24 hours a day. so good luck have a good holiday Beeby,
