I've got plenty of spare time now I'm retired and was thinking going "back to school". I'd like to do some different courses, whether, evening, short term, or one off classes - do you have any ideas?

Online education is gaining huge popularity. Reputed institutions all across the world are offering online degrees in multiple subjects. You should decide first which subject you prefer. Then go through details available on online courses available on that subject. If you are interested in doing social work then you can pursue master degree in social work.

Well you could to the courses online! I just got an masters in health administration online and it was really fun. I don't really understand; now that you are retired why you don't just sit back and relax, do something that is fun not study and work again.

You can try taking some courses online.The age doesn't matter and you can pick exactly what you want to learn.I have a communications masters degree that I took online and that helped me a lot and not just in my career.The technical knowledge you learn can make you better at the work you do and the people you meet and the perspective you gain can really help propel your career forward.

No matter how old you are, you can enrol in your local college on almost any subject. The cost is minible and pensioners get special rates. Some courses are free. I am dow doing a Free Lance Writer's course with Writer's Bureau. Local libraries will help you with informatoin on Learn Direct Courses too. Life is for living and learning. Good luck to you;

Three years ago I did a starter computer for "Silver Surfers " and really enjoyed it I did a next level a year later and again it was good These were organised by our local council and were I felt good value for money However this years brochure gives details of lots more courses in many different subjects but the fees have gone up so much and I cannot afford them
