Give your home a deep clean this January and spring cleaning later in the year will be a doddle! Here’s five easy ways to spruce up your home in no time at all

Start by clearing out all those bits and bobs that accumulate over time. Don’t forget to blitz your freezer, food cupboards and of course your wardrobe.

Make a dry cleaning list, include your duvet, curtains, sofa cushions and any throws that can’t be machine washed.

Work in one space and don’t move on until you’re satisfied you’ve completed that room.
