I have to agree with EBay. The online shopping channels have some lovely things but the postage is very high. Recycle birthday and Christmas cards. Ask friends and relatives to let you have any they have finished with. You can totally revamp them for a totally new look. Good luck with your card making.

You might like to consider creating your own craft paper/card, it takes a little time and a little space, but with minimal set up equipment most of which can be found around the home – Sponge/ food blender. You will also need a frame and mould which are easy to make or cheap to buy and some white felt or flannel and last but not least your recycled paper/rags. Once you get a little confidence the world is your oyster, you can add small dried flowers, lavender, tiny scraps of ribbon etc. If you ask your friends they will probably love to donate used/unused material that can be made into your pulp. It is easy to find instructions and inspiration in the library or on the internet and once you have your setup it more or less costs nothing more than your time :0) It’s a great way to get creative start to finish and to recycle.

The £1 shop do various items. Not always a good selection, but some bargains. Look at www.madaboutcards.com. too
