I was having similar problems with the neighbours cat. I tried a few suggestions I found on other sites but in the end I bit the bullet and bought an electronic scarer. I have to say that next doors cat has stayed away since. I did a bit of looking around and found this one which is doing the trick for me http://www.primrose-london.co.uk/advanced-cat-scarer-p-2310.html?cPath=102

Nothing really seems to help if a cat is determined to get in your garden.Personally speaking, since our old cat died last year, I have been grateful for the sometimes appearances of neighbours cats, especially as they keep the blasted pigeon population in order!

My problem is keeping the damn cats from coming into the house. I cant leave my back door open as they come in. They dont bother with the front or back lawns at all. The sods actually walk down the paths. I`ve no pet food or anything else that may atract them xxxx

Hi! We have found for some reason that the 9 feral cats that live in next door's garden do not like teabags spread on the bare soil where there are no plants... sorry, but they seem to love lavender rather than hate it and the ultra sonic noice thingy that you plug in and cost about £50 was pretty useless in my garden. They are the bane of my life!
