Does anyone know a recipe for date slice?

Date Slicecourtesy of Ann Nicol Ingredients375g pitted datesgrated zest of one lemon200g self-raising wholemeal flour150g butter, diced90g light muscovado sugar75g porridge oats.Method1 Place the dates in a saucepan with 200ml of water and the lemon zest. 2 Bring to the boil, stir well and allow to bubble, uncovered, for 8 to 10 minutes,until soft and thick. 3 Place the flour, butter and sugar in a food processor and whizz briefly then stir in the oats. 4 Tip half of this into a buttered shallow rectangular tin and press down. Spread the date mixture all over and then sprinkle over the remaining oat mixture, like a crumble. 5 Bake at 200C for 20/25 mins. until golden; 6 Remove and cut into l6 slices. ONLY REMOVE FROM THE TIN TO A WIRE RACK WHEN COLD
