I’ve had the same glasses for years but I think it’s time for a fresh look. Which style should I go for?

Frames go in fashions and what looked good a few years ago may look dated now, so be brave and go for something new and trendy and gain an instant facelift.~

Picking the right frames depends on your colouring and face shape. Dark hair and eyes? Go for dark colours. Light hair and eyes? Try gold, silver, beige, etc.
Warm frame colours, such as gold, bronze, brown and tortoiseshell, suit warm skin tones, while silver, pewter, black, grey and blue are best for a cool complexion.

Don’t forget, glasses are part of your image too! Try on as many styles as you can, you’ll be wearing your new glasses for a while, so it’s important to get frames you like.

Think about the shape of your face – the right frames will make a big difference.

Square face
Try: Oval shapes, shallow frames
Avoid: Thin, rectangular styles

Round face
Try: Rectangular, geometric, cat’s eye shapes, shallow frames
Avoid: Small, round shapes, thick frames

Rectangular face
Try: Deep frames, oval shapes or soft angles
Avoid: Small, angular shapes

Oval face
Try: Most shapes suit you
Avoid: Very big or very small frames
