Easy ways to burn 100 calories

The best way to lose your wobbly tummy is to combine a healthy diet with plenty of exercise. One pound of body fat is made up off 3500 calories. That means to lose a pound in a week you need to eat 3500 calories less than you usually do. Or you need to burn 3500 more calories by doing some more exercise. Of course the least painful way is to do a bit of both – try these simple ways to work off excess calories how ever much time you have.

If you have 10 minutes

Go for a jog around the park
Try skipping with a rope
Cycle steadily to the shops
Do a little aerobics

If you have 15 minutes

Play golf (carrying your own clubs)
Do lengths in the pool
Go for a brisk walk
Climb up and down your stairs

If you have 20 minutes

Do some gardening
Mop your kitchen floor
Put on your favourite music and dance around the room
Play tennis

If you have 30 minutes

Ballroom dance with your partner
Wash your car
Do some Pilates or gentle Yoga stretches
Play catch with your Grandkids
