Ive got facial hair and I'm terribly embarrassed about it - how do I get rid of it?
By Yours Answers Team
Just when the hair on your head is starting to get thinner you seem to start growing a fresh crop on your face – luckily there are lots of ways to deal with it. Facial hair should be an issue that resides firmly in the realm of men. We women have enough to deal with – but no, there comes a point in most of our lives when we suddenly start sprouting a moustache or side burns. It’s just cruel. But there’s no reason to stay fuzzy faced forever, there are many ways to safely remove or fade facial hair. Why do we get it? Our facial hair naturally gets coarser as we age and you’ll have probably noticed that yours is considerably thicker than it was in your 20s. Add to this the hormonal changes you experience during the menopause, when female hormones decline and send your male hormones out of balance, and it’s not surprising that you’re seeing a hint of a moustache. If you’re concerned about an increase in facial hair it’s always worth a visit to your GP before you start extracting the little blighters – just to rule out any underlying health problems.

agree the epicare stick works. I bought one on ebay for £3! also following recommendations off this comment page for a cream to reduce the appearance. Prescribed by doctor and seems to work. Do need to remove hairs so use the epicare stick too. Tried loads of ways these seem the best.

There are many products available only for removing unwanted facial hair, first consult your doctor and try one of these products.

The best way to get rid of facial hair is threading, I have it done regular for a long time now and it lasts for longer periods than any other cream etc...

I use tweezers, which can be a little painful at times, also with my eyesight fading I sometimes miss the odd one.
