My eyebrows are becoming very thin and sparse as I get older. Do you have any tips?

Follow these tips for beautiful brows... First find the right brow length by holding a pencil diagonally across your face from one side of your nose to the outer corner of your eye and mark with a pencil. Pluck any hairs that fall below this line, or if your brows are too short, fill in up to it. When shaping remember the highest point of the arch should be above your pupil. When defining, brow powder and a brush gives a softer look than eyebrow pencil on mature skin. Try to match your brows with your hair colour. If your hair is very light or grey, go for a soft grey-brown. Avoid unnatural red-browns. Brush your brows downwards, then, using a flat-edged brush and powder, lightly fill in gaps along the top of the brows. Brush upwards again and fill in gaps from underneath in the same way. Finish off with brow gloss or clear mascara to set.

The previous comments about redefining your eyebrows don't take into account those of us who seem to have almost lost our eyebrows completely. One of the problems with shaping with an eyebrow pencil is that if your face gets warm it is very easy to smear the colour away. I have found that it helps to press a cotton wool pad with a sprinkling of talc onto the eyebrows after colouring them and then brushing them gently to remove any surplus talc . It helps to set the colour.

I had my eyebrows threaded for the first time and it has completely transformed my face! A bit of a weird sensation but I would highly recommend

My eyebrows were becoming thin so I invested in semi-permanent make up and its brilliant a little expensive but worth every penny
