On a recent trip to New York, I was astonished to open the fridge and find two tubes of pile treatment. "How revolting" I thought until my relative explaied that used sparingly under the eyes can remove wrinkles and bags. Am I the only one not to have picked up on this and does it really work?

Haemorrhoid cream as well as Tri Luma have an active substance that leads to wrinkle reduction.I am using it for years together with a aloe vera face mask and I am very satisfied of their effects.

As a woman I am very concerned about skin ageing and wrinkles. This is why I am using the best products in order to mantain my skin healthy but one cannot cheat time passing and sometimes you need to do something more in order to look younger.I am 30 years old and I was having some horrible wrinkles and eye bags until I decided to visit a Seattle Plastic Surgery specialist. He made me a surgery and helped me to get rid of those imperfections that were making me unhappy. Now I am very satisfied as I am looking great and I feel good when people tell me that I am looking like a teenager.

This REALLY DOES WORK!!!!!!! I turned 30 at the end of last year. Having been an avid user of Olay/ Nivea Q10/ many, many extremely expensive creams etc, I decided to give this 'myth' a try.....with amazing results!!!!! In one week, it looked like i'd had botox but without the scary 'frozen' look! I used it up to five times a week, after cleansing and toning (baby lotion and cold water for me), and before i rubbed a little moisturiser in it after it had been on my skin about ten mins or so, amazing stuff. I even got asked for ID in tesco today buying a bottle of wine so pile cream may well be taking years off me!!!! Other ace tips for all u beauty girls out there are: 1. Vaseline under the eyes is an amazing eye cream. Can also be used as a facemask once a week and brilliant for softening skin by slathering a load of it on feet and hands after showering, then putting bedsocks and gloves on (only good at night time, obviously!!!!) 2. A milk and honey facemask is brilliant to make you glow. I exfoliate my face after cleansing, then 'steam' my face for 3 mins by filling sink up with boiling water and holding my face over it with a towel draped over my face. After steaming, i mix a cup of a little bit of milk with some squeezy honey then spoon it over my face, leave for 15 mins and then rinse off. And that is my DIY/on a budget beauty routine!!!!!!!!!

No, it doesn't work! It's actually very bad for you. It dries out your skin, so will make your wrinkles worse in the long run. It also contains steroids that you should not put around your eyes. It also constricts blood vessels which makes them worse in the long term! This article backs me up: http://lipstick-and-pearls.blogspot.com/2011/08/haemorrhoid-cream-for-eyebags.html

I am happy to report that haemorrhoid cream DOES indeed work to reduce the puffiness under the eyes & minor crows feet too... I didnt believe it myself till I was in the bathroom one day sortin thru stuff n spotted it n had a flashback to 'Miss Congeniality' n thought 'Hmmmmm dare I.. n yes... yes i did dare n I noticed a difference after bout an hour or so. There is varying schools of thought as to whether the US version has the active shark oil n the UK still retains it or vice versa.. mine was sourced in the UK. . Use very sparingly & not every day. A tiny amount applied gently with the tip of the little finger keeping clear of the tear duct & eye edge. If you apply, stopping 3 or 4mm from the eye edge, the natural absorbancy of the skin in this area will wick the product higher without 'dragging' the skin (excess dragging n rubbing of the skin here can over time emphasise the bags & damage the fine capilliaries adding to potential dark patches aka. panda eyes*.) If you have generally sensitive skin I would avoid using it due to the fact that the eye area in itself is fragile & delicate by nature *An excellent product for dark circles below the eye is "L'Oreal Wrinkle Decrease Collagen Filler Eye". Its light diffusing properties visibly reduce dark circles. It can be used with or without makeup & unless yr circles are exceptionally dark negates the use of concealer. I would recommend however that if eyeliner is to be worn allow 10min or so for the product to be completely absorbed, otherwise the liner may have reduced staying power. I would like to stress however that I'm not advocating we all run out n start slathering random creams all over us that are not designed for these uses. As with all preparations apply with caution & should excess irritation occur remove immediately. (I experience a very slight tingle the first time but this ceased within a minute)
