Online Safety
Whether you are a new to it, or a long-time community member, find out what you need to know to stay safe when you post online.
We aim to run a friendly and supportive community, but you should remember that you don't know every other member - and you might not want them to know all about you.
Don't post anything that you're not comfortable with all our members knowing.
We recommend that you don't post personal information, such as telephone numbers, personal addresses etc.
Equally, think before posting pictures which either on their own, or taken together, give detailed information about who you are and where you live. For example avoid pictures of your grandchildren, which might indentify the name of their school, or your family by the sign for your street.
Although a lot of our members have made friends through this site, it's still worth being cautious before you agree to meet anyone that you don't know well. If you do agree to meet up with people, think about taking another friend along with you - and arrange to meet in a public place.
