Found these sites about heel pain. The second one gives exercises to practice.
The good news is that the exercise helped my painful right heel but then I had a pain when I stretched the left heel

I have plenty of aches and pains, all over, but have never had heel pain. I 'm sure it must be one of the most painful, because of all the walking we do. Hope whoever has , gets relief, from reading these sites. Elllie.
The information mentions that it is better to wear higher heels rather than flat shoes. I've done this today and it has certainly been less painful. The boots I bought for this last winter were flat and so are my slippers so this could be the cause of my heel pain.
